Cash In on Your Old Textbooks

If you are looking for a way to unload textbooks that you no longer need, then you may be interested in checking out cash4books or Amazon.

Amazon Trade In Store allows you to enter the ISBN numbers of your textbooks to see how much credit you can receive. If you decide to trade in your book, you will then be able to print a shipping label. (Amazon covers shipping.)

The good thing about Amazon Trade -In is they were willing to pay more for the books I had. The downside is they don’t pay you cash. You will receive a credit to your Amazon account for the books you send in.

Personally, I like accumulating Amazon credits through their trade in program and through Swagbucks. This way I can save them for birthday and Christmas presents. However, if you’d rather have cash you can check out cash4books.

Sell TextBooks Online - Quick Cash, Free Shipping, Free Quotes!

Get Quick Cash For Books at Cash4Books.net Cash4Books will pay you cash for your unwanted books. They provide free shipping and will send you a check or pay you through paypal when they have received and inspected you books.

When I compared my College English book, Amazon was willing to give me a $33.00 credit and Cash4Books was willing to give me $26.66 cash. Cash4Books terms states that they will match a competitors price, so you could probably get the $33.00 in cash through them.

Make Your Own Laundry Detergent

Have you ever wondered how to make your own laundry detergent, or if it will actually save you money? Trent from the Simple Dollar makes enough detergent for 312 loads of laundry for only $6.97.

He tested his home made laundry detergent against tide by smearing mustard on two white shirts. Which detergent do you think worked better? Both detergents actually had the same effectiveness.

Ingredients for home-made laundry detergent:

1 cup washing soda (I use Arm & Hammer)
1/2 cup borax (I use 20 Mule Team)
1 bar soap (I use whatever’s cheap, in this case Pure & Natural)
Approximately 3 gallons water

You can go HERE and check out a detailed description and video of how to make your own laundry detergent.
